British Fashion Awards Winners: Jimmy Choo, Jourdan Dunn, Stephen Jones, Luella Bartley

Now, more than ever, dah-lings, we have a reason to invest in Jimmy Choos! Since their rep just went up a notch by winning the Best Fashion Brand Award at this year’s British Fashion Awards.
“I’m so honoured to get this,” said company founder Tamara Mellon, “London is the hometown where Jimmy Choo was founded.”
Other winners on the awards night include Jourdan Dunn for Best Model, who after her Thank-You speech said, “It hasn’t really sunk in yet. I can’t believe I started crying.”
The award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design was given to milliner Stephen Jones, who graduated from Central Saint Martins in the 80s and has since become well known in the film, music and fashion industries.
“I am delighted and honoured to receive the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design. Hats and I have had an extraordinary adventure together for almost thirty years around the world, and it’s not over yet,” said Jones.
Designer of the Year 2008 went to Luella Bartley, who actually the fashion industry as a designer via a career in journalism.
