Christian Dior: Major Ad Campaigning for Handbags and Fragrance
Wow, two lovely ladies who are not 90s supermodels or pop stars have been chosen to front the high fashion campaigns of Christian Dior’s Lady Dior handbags and Dior’s new fragrance, Mon Cherie.
Christian Dior has chosen an Oscar-winning French actress, Marion Cotillard as the new lady to be sporting Lady Dior handbags. The ad campaign will feature four scenes such as above (the first of the series) set at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Mixing a bit of romance, a bit of history, and whole lot of sexy – but in a classy way. (Stay tuned here at Edictive, as we’ll surely be one of the first to know when the second photo is leaked!)
Meanwhile, Sophia Capolla’s Miss Dior Cherie ads had their television debut during last night’s screening of Gossip Girl – starring not any of the Gossip Girl cast, but model Maryna Linchuk. The ad is being aired with a series of print ads which features a much younger, whimsical look compared to the Lady Dior.

Great picture and terrific ad by Dior. The model is gorgeous but doesn’t look plastic to me.
