Prada’s Spring Summer 2009 Women’s Wear Collection Ads – Sneak Peak!

I am loving the recently leaked new photograph of Prada’s 2009 Spring Summer campaign. It doesn’t feature a movie star or pop singer. It’s just about the clothes. And Prada being Prada. The models don’t attract any attention onto themselves either, which is so refreshing. Who cares what their lives are like or if they slept with anyone, did anything taboo or helped with a charity event. The focus is on the bags. And dresses. And shoes.
Apparently beige is the color of the new season, and this photo is certainly brainwashing us into agreeing. Loving the shoes – as ‘killer’ as they may be. Really elegant French twists on the models’ hair, as well as delicate earrings. It’s almost a bit of what Victoria Beckham believes is a ‘school teacher’ look. The knee-length dresses and skirts, with very sensible bust-lines.
Photographer of the campaign was Steven Meisel, and if you’re still rather interested in their particular names, the models were: Nimue Smit, Giedre Dukauskaite, Sigrid Agren, Toni Garrn, Katrin Thormann, Viktoriya Sasonkina, and Ymre Stiekema.
