Prada seems to have decided to abstain from bright colors for this upcoming season for both their men and women’s collection campaigns. The menswear shots were done by Hedi Slimane, and these models have never actually modelled before. Could you tell? (And how lucky to have Prada as their first modelling job!)

Louis and Claude Simonon, sons of musicians Paul and Tricia Simonon, from the band The Clash, are still at school in England.

Prada says the shots were intended to show men in their moments of introspection and reflection. “It is a symbolic yet understated approach to desire in men’s wear; a new classicism with a rebel edge.”

This was Hedi Slimane’s first project with Prada since leaving Dior Homme last year. Slimane also published a three-volume photography book set, Rock Diary, earlier this year. Slimane has been renowned for his rock and androgynous style in designs and photography.

(The boy on the right definitely pulls off androgyny)

  1. Whoa…why do they look so pretty? Claude seems a dead-ringer for Paul, though I’ve yet to see the Miss.
