Sarah Jessica Parker in Harper’s Bazaar March 2009

There’s a really huge feature of all that is Sarah Jessica Parker in this month’s Harper’s Bazaar, and yes you can go read the full story online without having to spend a cent on the magazine.
Here’s my quick summary: firstly, the interviewer brought up Gossip Girl as a comparison and example of a possible Sex and the City replacement. Sarah Jessica’s response: “Is there any concern over the impression that it’s making on young women? I’m not asking in condemnation, but I’m just curious…”
The point of the article, however, was for SJP to plug her new fragrance, Lovely. “I started keeping a list of names, and Lovely was first on the list. It just really describes what I wanted the fragrance to be.”
For the photo feature, SJP drew inspiration from the late Harper’s fashion editor Diana Vreeland. “She [Vreeland] really created a completely different way of thinking about aesthetics, living, and indulgence, and the feeling fashion,” said SJP.
