Red will be the new black, as per tradition, during the month of love that is February. When all single girls celebrate their liberating lifestyles with each other, and coupled girls remain smug in their coupledom.

Scarlett Johansson is posing with some super luscious red gowns in the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the theme for the shoot of which, was something to do with being the madam of a brothel house…?

“Every actor wants to work on a Western. I would run a brothel, like a madam or something,” said Scarlett.

I’m not quite getting the madam resemblance in these photos, but she does look beautiful, and pulls off the red dress like a true Betty.

Labels in the shoot included Donna Karan New York, Carolina Herrera, Cartier and Jimmy Choo, amongst others.

I don’t understand why for the month of ‘love’ she didn’t do a shoot with her hubby Ryan Reynolds?
