Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton debuts in Tokyo

Sofia Coppola’s much-anticipated accessories collection for Louis Vuitton have debuted this week in Tokyo. The collection is made of smart-looking duffle bags, classic clutches and cute wedge sandals.

“To start with I wanted to make a bag for myself,” said Coppola to WWD about how the idea of the collaboration began, “then we talked about making a little capsule collection. My friends and I are always searching for the perfect day bag. It fits all your things but isn’t too big and isn’t too heavy.”

The signature SC bag is available in dark grey suede, dark blue calf leather or burgundy calf leather. (*Ssh!* Don’t tell PETA…)

The 70’s inspired wedge shoes were designed with the idea that you could wear them all night, stay comfortable and “still look chic.”
