Tallulah Harlech as Lagerfeld’s latest Muse for Chanel

Filming just finished for a short silent film to be used in the opening of the next Chanel pre-fall presentation, starring Tallulah Harlech. In the film Harlech sells a Chanel hat to her real-life mother, Amanda. Apparently Mummy dearest had the wisest advice: “Don’t pout like Keira Knightley.”

Tallulah Harlech says that “Karl has a very specific way he wants you to walk and look and turn. Karl is hilarious. As serious and scary as he looks, he tells the best jokes.”

Amanda has been Karl’s muse for Chanel for many years. The pre-fall opening is scheduled to be shown at the Theatre du Ranelagh in Paris on December 3rd.

The film will be loosely based on the life of Coco Chanel – seems quite a trend lately to keep revisiting the life of originally named Gabrielle, who fashioned the ‘Coco’ name when she began a career as a café and concert singer.
